Computational Approaches to Large-scale/Complex Nuclear Reactor Analysis
Abstract
This paper presents the development and application of a new Monte Carlo simulation code developed for the high fidelity analysis of large scale complex nuclear reactor system. The accuracy and validity of the new code are demonstrated using the pressurized water reactor benchmark problem BEAVRS and the measured data of critical benchmarks. The comparisons with the MIT MC code, OpenMC, and the SNU MOC code nTRACER are presented
