Equitability-Based Crew Rostering Optimization for High-Speed Railway
Abstract
In order to meet the actual needs of railway passenger departments in the preparation of crew rostering plan(CRP), in view of the low efficiency of crew rostering in high-speed railway in our country and in accordance with the current crew system and crew rules ,a monthly crew rostering plan model with the goal of minimizing the number of crews was built, In the process of modeling, in order to ensure the practical feasibility of the rostering plan, the monthly cycle was taken into account, and the handling method of night-time crew duties was considered. Finally, the approach was verified to be efficient based on the example of Shijiazhuang passenger department. The results show that the obtained crew rostering plan can reduce the number of crews and improve the balance of monthly working hours between crews.
