Analysis of Flight Fuel Consumption Based on Nonlinear Regression
Abstract
For to increase fuel utilization and reduce carbon emissions of flights, the relationship between each factor and fuel consumption was established using real flight data and nonlinear regression algorithm. By counting the flight data of different flights (model A330), the fitting model of fuel consumption and fuel consumption was established, and the contribution of minor change of each factor to fuel consumption was also analyzed. The results show that this method can achieve better generalization ability and describe the relationship between the fuel consumption and the various factors. This method serves as a means to evaluate the effectiveness of energy saving and emission reduction, and provides technical guidance for dispatchers to analyze fuel economy.
