A Visual Method for Distinguishing Heading Directions and Road Identification
Abstract
We present a simple and effective approach for visual road identification problem. For distinguishing directions, our method uses SIFT feature to match points and gives the result by counting the number of matched points. For specified road identification problem, our method uses dimension-reduced GIST feature and a SVM classifier to identify different roads. And we showed our method could achieve a high accuracy on test dataset.
