Secure Transmission Via TAS/RAS in MIMO Wiretap Channels
Abstract
In the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system, the transmit antenna is selected by transmitting antenna selection (TAS)/receiver using receiver antenna selection (RAS). Consider the actual transmission situation: the transmitter cannot get the channel information of the eavesdropper’s channel. The main channel between the transmitter and the receiver is selected, and an antenna with the largest instantaneous signal- to-noise ratio (SNR) is selected for transmission. RAS is adopted at the receiving end. The main channel and the eavesdropper’s channel are independent and distributed Rayleigh channel. In this paper, we derive closed-form expressions of probability and safety outage probability for TAS/RAS. Various numerical results are presented that corroborate the analysis.
