Digital Closed-loop Fiber Optic Gyroscopes Signal Processing System Based on DSP
Abstract
Fiber optic gyroscopes (FOGs) have several advantages including higher reliability, long working lifetimes, quick start-up, and wide dynamic ranges. Therefore, it is of important significance for developing fiber optic gyroscopes. In this paper, a digital closed-loop FOG using digital signal processor (DSP) technique is presented. The practical design principle and signal processing technique are discussed. Test results show that the accuracy of prototype of the FOG is up to 5°/ℎ.
