Analysis of the Effectiveness of H Index and Other Indicators in the Construction of Think Tanks in Agricultural Universities and Colleges to Evaluate the Authors in the Field of Genetic Biology

Abstract

[Objective] through the analysis of genetic and molecular biology in the intelligence platform, proposed the application of bibliometrics in value in the construction to provide the reference for decision-making, and more for the development of agriculture in the construction of "double tank top" subject. [Method] taking Shenyang Agricultural University construction "ESI library" as the source of discipline evaluation results, through the method of literature metrology research field of molecular biology and genetic articles article 50 highly cited authors of the H index, the average citation amount between the rankings change rules. [Conclusion] the H index was positively correlated with the volume of publication and the cited frequency, and the top 5 authors in the list were among the top 10 in China's "double top" university rankings in 2017. On this basis, we further explore the future application of bibliometrics in the University think tanks.
