Research on Anisotropic Conductivity of Cylindrical Lithium Ion Battery

Abstract


In this paper, the anisotropic conductivity of cylindrical lithium ion battery is theoretically analyzed and a calculation model for the thermal conductivity of the cross section of the battery is established. The axial conductivity of the lithium ion battery is simulated by modeling and calculation. A test rig for measuring conductivity of the axial and cross section of a cylindrical lithium ion battery is designed. Compared with the experimental results and simulation results, the reliability of the simulation analysis method in calculating the thermal conductivity of a cylindrical lithium ion battery is determined.
