Identification of the Strain NO.026 and Its Effect on Colletotrichum Lycopersici

Abstract

The 218 actinomycetes were isolated from soil sample in Yuanmou County of Yunnan Province. The results showed that 53 strains had antagonistic activities against Colletotrichum lycopersici by vivo tablet determining method. The strain NO.026 had a strong antifungal activity against Colletotrichum lycopersici with the inhibitory diameter of 25.9mm. The pot experiment showed that the control efficiency of filtrate from NO.026 against Colletotrichum lycopersici was significantly higher than 800-fold dilution of 50% carbendazim WP which could be up to 89.51%. According to the morphological characteristics, physiological and biochemical properties and 16S rDNA, the strain NO.026 was preliminarily identified as Streptomyces avermitilis.
