Selected Aspects of Modeling the Distance Measuring Equipment Operation
Abstract
The Kalman filtering is a useful method for estimating the current and future state of the dynamic system. In fact, Kalman's filter is optimal for linear dynamic systems. However, most systems are nonlinear. In this paper, we present the possibilities of modeling the distance measurement by a navigational distrometer operating under disturbance conditions. Such operating conditions of the radionavigation distance measuring equipment is typical for their use in air transport.
