Abstract

How to effectively use the non-volatile memories in the computing devices is a still open problem. In this paper, we present an efficient approach that uses the non-volatile memories for performance improvement of browser, which is one of key applications. By caching the popular web resources in the non-volatile memories that have fast data access speed, we could reduce the user-perceived performance up to 33% with real workloads.

Keywords
