Electro-sorption Regeneration Method for Liquid Dehumidification Air-conditioning System
Abstract
Liquid dehumidification air-conditioning system is a green air-conditioning system with good energy saving potential. However, the poor performance is a bottleneck for its development. The reason for that is the energy waste in the traditional thermal energy regeneration process. To improve, a photovoltaic electro-sorption regeneration method is proposed in this paper. Driven by solar photovoltaic generator, strong solutions are acquired in an electric field with capacitive deionization units. This method avoids the energy waste and enhance the performance. Theoretical and experimental work has been made. The highest COP can attain 7 under certain working conditions. The experimental results show this new method is potential for future application.
