Preparation and Research of the Porous Ceramic Support of Silicon Carbide
Abstract
In this experiment, carbon black, silica fume and silicon carbide is the main raw material. The porous silicon carbide ceramic supports were prepared by extrusion molding and reaction sintering. Porous supports are used for carrying the filter film so that it has good porosity and high strength. This paper mainly discusses the effect of the ratio of raw materials and the sintering temperature on the pore size and the strength of the supporting body. Finally, the pore size and the strength of the porous silicon carbide ceramic supports are controlled.
