Rice Export Carbon Emissions and Reduction Measures

Abstract

China is a large produce country in rice cultivation. Rice paddies carbon emission is one of the main sources of carbon emissions in agricultural activities. This study estimated the carbon emissions in the process of rice cultivation and export. It is suggested that choose the low carbonization cultivation patterns, such as the low carbonization rice varieties, the low carbonization rice symbiotic mode and the low carbonization irrigation pattern can reduce carbon emissions in rice exports. Meanwhile adjustment on import and export structure and construction export famous brand are the another way.
