Information Relationship Topology Analysis for Integrated Wide Area Protection and Control
Abstract
The adaptive information fusion technology is being rapidly developed and applied in the integrated wide area protection and control system. This paper presents a topology analysis method, which effectively generates the relationship between the secondary system information and the primary power grid. The generated topology model consists of the node and the branch element classes, which facilitates the inspection of the connection scheme of the power grid and the consistency between the secondary information and the primary system. Two independent topology networks are designed respectively for the power grid and the secondary information system, therefore the flexibility of the topology analysis is improved. Moreover, the proposed method uses the secondary logical device as the information source to simplify the relationship between the primary grid and the secondary system, so it’s suitable for the engineering implementation. In conclusion, the presented method can meet the topological modeling need of the adaptive information fusion in the wide area protection and control system.
