The Electric Power Substitution Status of Heat Pump Project and Evaluation of Energy Saving Benefit in Gansu Province

Abstract

Gansu province always following the new energy consumption concept: Electricity Replace Coal, Electricity Replace Oil. Under this situation, Gansu put forward heat pump project, a new model to substitute the traditional coal-fired heating mode, to accelerate the electric power substitution. This new model not only improves the proportion of electricity in final energy consumption, but also reduces emissions of NOX, CO2, SO2 and other pollutants. This paper summarized the operating mode of heat pump project and evaluated the energy saving benefits of the project. From the results of environmental benefits, the water source heat pump project is worth promoting.
