Research on Electricity Demand Forecasting Method based on System Dynamics with Electricity Market Reform

Abstract

With the reform in the electricity market, there emerge in large numbers of new market players in electricity market. Changes in market structure makes the customers of electricity grid enterprise run off to other electricity sale companies. Thus, reforecasting the electricity demand for grid enterprises is very necessary. This paper introduced market competition and forecast the electricity demand for the whole society and the grid company in Tianjin based on system dynamics, which is helpful for power grid construction and operation.
