Common Information Model Expansion for Component Units in Source and Load Interactive System
Abstract
Interaction is one of the most important features of power grid. A source and load interactive system is an overall thinking and systematic study of grid operation and control in the complex environment of interaction between power supply, power grid and load. By using the advanced measurement and communication technology, the source and load interactive system aggregates its component units, such as different types of renewable energy resource, energy storage system, electric vehicle charging station, controllable load, to achieve a variety of coordinated optimization operation. Based on IEC61970 standard, those component units in source and load interactive system are expanded in this paper by using the common information model, which can directly reflect distributed energy attributes of the source and load interactive system.
