Discussion on the Construction Experience and Development Bottleneck of Green Airport in China

Abstract

At the beginning of the 21st century, our country preliminary carried out relevant research and practice in the field of green airport, which become intensity, comprehensive and systematic since the green airport concept proposed in 2006. According to the existing practice, the valuable experiences are as follows: closely obey the basic construction procedure, plan and design as early as possible, carry out green airport concept comprehensively throughout the process and in all the fields, focus on the local conditions, as well as launch the special research subjects at suitable time; the bottleneck of future green airport development includes cultivate airport green consciousness and awareness, continually improve the green airport theory system, speed up building standards of green airport construction and gradually standardize data and set up green airport database.
