Strength Analysis of Steel Bridge for Large Structure Shift Transportation
Abstract
Steel bridge was responsible for the connection of wharf and barge, when large structure was shift by Platform lorry. The enough strength of steel bridge was required for the safety of the shipment since the larger mass of steel structure, and the platform lorry walking and stopping on a steel bridge. This article was based on the actual operating conditions in the shipment process of large steel structure, used surface-surface contact elements between wharf and steel trestle in finite element modeling, and analyzed several actual working conditions in platform lorry shift transportation. Analyzed structural strength of the designed trestle to get the stress distribution and dangerous stress position of the bridge. Provided a theoretical basis for design and analysis of the trestle, the results had a certainly significance for improving the trestle design quality and ensured safety shipment of the large steel structure.
