Preparation Method Evaluation of Polymer Solution in X13 Block

Abstract


According to the polymer flooding fact of the polymer flooding industrial area in X13 block, by different preparation methods, the solutions were prepared with polymers of different molecular weight and concentration. Based on laboratory experiment and relative theory analysis, the shear rate and apparent viscosity of these polymer solutions flowing through porous medium were obtained, and their influence on the reservoir permeability was studied, and a preparation method of polymer solution is suggested. The result shows that the polymer solution prepared with fresh water while diluted with oilfield wastewater behaves better in oil displacement process
