Abstract

In this study, the realization of load and frequency control of a eight-area power system via Proportional Integral (PI), Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) and Fuzzy Logic Controllers(FLC) has been focused on. Loads connected to power systems, how the changes affect the frequency of the system, sought answers to the questions what can happen in the size of the oscillations. In addition, the rate at which the oscillations can be reduced with the use of fuzzy logic controller is studied. Five region power control system has been examinated. These regions of MATLAB / Simulink digital library are modeled in detail in the design stages of the complete system control with fuzzy logic controller is made which will be described. The results obtained using FLC, proportional-integral (PI) and proportional integral derivative controller for the performance analysis results were compared with the designed FLC.
