Study on Performance of Ferromagnetic Concrete

Abstract


This paper is concerned with the study of the performance of a new magnetic material mixed with aluminum cement and silicon steel sheet. By measuring the different substitution amount of ferromagnetic concrete, the mix proportion of ferromagnetic concrete, the temperature of the different experimental point of the transformer, and the output voltage, we analysis the permeability and attrition rate of the materials. Then we got the best mix proportion of iron, aluminum and cement, the best amount of substitution replacing silicon steel sheet. Then a new type of magnetic material is developed. This experimental study can be applied to large-scale power and electrical equipment which can reduce production costs and improve production efficiency.
