Evaluation on Sustainability of Agricultural Development in the Northeast Plain County Region of China—Taking Dehui City as an Example

Abstract

Taking Dehui City as an example, index system, evaluation model and methods for evaluation on sustainability of agricultural development in the northeast plain county region of China are discussed. The improvement of natural condition and enhancement of level of effort are main driving forces for sustainable development of agriculture. The composition and quality of rural population are soft conditions for sustainable development of agriculture. The yield level can reflect sustainable development of agriculture and its role on the national food security, and industrial structure and sustainable capacity can embody important goal of sustainable development of agriculture. Adjust agricultural structure through stabilizing food production, push the construction of ecological agriculture through scientific and technical innovation, so as to push the sustainable development of agriculture in the county region.
