Abstract

In order to study the temporal and spatial variation characteristics of pollutants which inflow into Tai Lake in Tiaoxi Watershed, the mathematical model of hydrodynamic and water quality is established in Tiaoxi Watershed. Based on the calibrated model, pollutant flux inflow into Tai Lake is calculated by using the hydrological data of high flow years, normal years, and low flow years. Through the calculation of pollutant flux in the trans-boundary section between the counties, the influence weight of the regional pollutants is further analyzed, which paves the way for the traceability of pollutants. The results showed that the pollutant fluxes with the factors COD, NH3-N, TP, TN, were higher in the high flow and normal flow years, were smaller in the low flow year. About the pollutant influence weight of the different regions in the typical years, the order from big to small is Wuxing County, Deqing County, Anji County, Lin’an County and Yuhang County. Thus it can be seen, Wuxing County is the key area to control the pollution inflow into Tai Lake.
