Experiment Study on Flotation of Desliming Coal Slurry of Tucheng Preparation Plant

Abstract


With the increasing of the amount of coal slurries in the coal preparation plant, fine coal slurry pollute large particles coal slurry seriously. In this paper, removal some 0-0.074mm coal slurries from the original coal slime. Using these methods which are XRD, small screening test, small ups and downs test and floatation step-by-step release test to analyze the mineral composition, size composition, selectivity, floatability. These tests result show that the desliming can release most of the minerals in the coal slurry and can be reduced the pollution of the large particles by the fine particles. At the same time, large particles coal slime can be gathered. The floatability and selectability of the coal slurry can be improved. The yield of clean coal of flotation can be increased. There are some guidelines to solve the problem that the high ash fine coal separation process.
