Investigation on Safety Evaluation of Lithium-Ion Battery

Abstract

With the wide application of lithium battery, its safety performance is particularly important. Lithium battery short circuit test is typical of battery safety performance test project. Therefore, based on the lithium iron phosphate-graphite system square aluminum shell cylindrical battery, battery, liquid flexible packaging and 18650 as test samples. Study the short circuit test of the three batteries, battery test methods of short circuit test is given and the test results when performing a short-circuit test project risk and failure mechanism. Studies have shown that standards and evaluation methods of the safety of the lithium battery research, has very important practical significance.
