On the Basic Properties of Norms in Numerical Analysis

Abstract

Numerical analysis is very important in mathematics. It is one of the important pillars of computational mathematics. Numerical analysis need to use the theory of norm. And the norm as a tool, in the functional analysis and other branch of mathematics it has important application. This paper studies the basic properties of norm. We have considered norm of several objects such as the vector, real functional, matrix etc. Finally we summary and get their common properties.
