Analysis of Influencing Factors of China's Agricultural Products Imports from Kazakhstan Based on CMS Model
Abstract
This article analyzes the trade of agricultural products between China and Kazakhstan from the perspective of China's imports. It selects the data of China's imports of agricultural products from Kazakhstan from 1998 to 2018, and divides it into four stages based on fluctuations, and analyzes the factors affecting agricultural imports by constructing a CMS model. The result is that the structural effect in 1998-2001 and 2007-2010 was the main influencing factor of import growth; in 2002-2006 and 2011-2018, structural effect, competitiveness effect and cross effect all promoted import growth.
