Research for Current Status and Influencing Factors for Children with Certain Disabilities Receiving Compulsory Education in Hubei
Abstract
Developing compulsory education for children with disabilities is the important content of promoting education equity and achieving modernization of education. Simultaneously, it’s the important measure to adhere to the people-centered concept and carry forward the humanitarian spirit. Facing the status of low enrollment rate of compulsory education for children with disabilities in Hubei, the paper uses the method of descriptive analysis and regression analysis to research current status and influencing factors for children with certain disabilities receiving compulsory education. The results show that disability levels, average family income, living areas, life skills, rehabilitation service situation have significant impacts on children with disabilities receiving compulsory education.
