Analysis and Verification on Steering Power Ratio of High-speed Tracked Vehicle

Abstract


In order to study the change of steady-state steering power ratio of high-speed tracked vehicle, the equations are established and solved by iterative algorithm according to the relationship between shear stress and shear displacement; the model of steady-state steering power ratio is established as well. The relationships between power ratio of the whole vehicle, steering power and steering radius are analyzed and the skidding influence of the track on the power ratio is analyzed. Finally experiment of steady-state steering is carried out and test data and the theoretic calculated results are compared.
