Static Properties of Hydrostatic Thrust Bearing Considering Couple Stress

Abstract


In this paper, it studied the static properties of hydrostatic thrust bearings combined the effects of recess depth, fluid inertia and couple stress. It is found that couple stress and centrifugal inertia has notable effects on the static properties of hydrostatic thrust bearing.
