Research on Mechanical Properties of Corrugated Steel Plate Composite Structure with Filling Material Characteristics Changed

Abstract


Along with the development of traffic construction and the increasing traffic volume in China, a variety of diseases have appeared in in-service bridge and culvert structures, which seriously affects safety of the structure in use. Hence, these structures are urgently needed to be maintained and reinforced by the custody sector. Based on this background, this paper pointed out the prominent advantages of bridge structure reinforcement method based on corrugated steel plate: little influence on the traffic, reasonable force and so on. In view of the deficiencies in the current international study on the characteristics of fill material of corrugated steel plate structure, a finite element model of corrugated steel plate-filling structure was established by ANSYS, which is a bridge reinforcement project in fact. The influence of the characteristics of the fill material on structural stress was discussed and the corresponding conclusions were drawn, providing practical reference and theoretical guidance for engineering application of corrugated steel plate structure.
