Effect of Moisture on Properties of Silicon Carbide Ceramics
Abstract
This paper studies the effect of moisture on the extrusion molding of silicon carbide ceramics. We set up the extrusion molding process by discussing the influence of moisture content on the performance of products, and we got the best proportion of ingredients through analyzing the important properties such as the anti-folding strength, porosity and pore size distribution. By studying the properties of the products, the influence of the number of additives is obtained.
