An Improved Nonlinear Model for Load and Capacity
Abstract
A nonlinear model of load and capacity is established to study the robustness of complex networks. The influences of load parameters and capacity parameters on cascading invulnerability of complex networks is analyzed following the principle load redistribution of local nearest neighbor. Furthermore, the invulnerability of complex networks is analyzed under the constraints of networks cost and survivability. Simulation results on complex networks show that the proposed nonlinear model can enhance the networks resistance to cascading failures with a limited cost.
