A New Measurement Instrument and Image Processing Methods for Features Extraction of GRIN Lens End
Abstract
To efficiently implement the image acquisition of gradient-index (GRIN) lens end, a new measurement installation has been designed. An improved median filtering method for light halo removal in the image is accordingly applied to the features extraction. A series of image processing methods for features extraction of defects are introduced in detail. In the method, the determination process of defects information is described abstractedly, including the area and their positions. Innovative experiment methods and promising results are presented in this paper.
