Corrosion Inhibition Performance of Levofloxacin Hydrochloride for Mild Steel in Hydrochloride Acid Solution
Abstract
This work was devoted to the SPCH steel inhibition performance in a series of concentrations levofloxacin hydrochloride solutions in 1mol/L HCl solution. We studied the inhibition characteristics by weight-loss method and electrochemical method. When concentration was below 1×10-3mol/L, the greater drug concentration, the better the performance would be attained. Once the concentrations are over 5×10-3mol/L, promotion of inhibition efficiency was indistinctive. Thus, inhibition type is mixed model, and cathodic inhibition plays a leading role in this process.
