Summary of Wind Speed Time Series Prediction Algorithms

Abstract

Accurate prediction of wind speed is an important prerequisite for wind power integration. To hackle the large number of wind prediction outcomes in recent years, based on simple discussion of the wind power generation principle, wind speed predicted classification was summarized, the characteristics of a single algorithm wind speed forecast model was generalized, and the advantages and disadvantages of typical combination algorithm of wind speed forecast model was trying to scientific evaluated, the prediction effects of wind speed based on numerical weather prediction(NWP) was given clearly.
