The Modeling of Electrical Constriction Resistance (ECR) Considering Elastic-Plastic Deformation
Abstract
In this paper, firstly, the relationship of dimensionless normal load * F and dimensionless contact rate * r A is established in consideration of elastic-plastic deformation. Secondly, based on the power law of size distribution, the expression of nominal area and the maximua area of single asperity is obtained. Finally, by using the modified hypothesis, the model of the ECR for rough interface is established, which is influenced by the fractal dimension D, fractal roughness G , dimensionless loading force F* and friction coefficient μ. During the design of electrical equipment, the established model of the ECR can provide a theoretical reference for the accurate ECR calculation.
