A Fast Method for Group Rendering Based on SPH

In large-scale combat simulations, operational entities appear in groups. These groups have the overall unity of action and the monomers have the characteristics of independent action in a certain extent. In this paper, we focus on a rapid group rendering method based on Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH). This method uses the two attributes of discrete monomer and continuous fluid to represent individuals and groups, proposes an autonomous behavior model for each monomer in the group, and studies task-based monomer behavior planning algorithms. On the basis of continuous dynamics, bi-directional distance variation constraints are introduced to accelerate population mapping. The simulation results show that the scheme can effectively improve the drawing speed of the group target.
