A Study on The Performance of Multiple-beam Antenna Satellite Receiving System

Abstract

High quality, high capability and wide overlay are desired in modern satellite communication. Many new technologies have been used in communication satellite, and multiple-beam antenna was one of them. Discussing the amplitude and phase inconsistency of the RF multiple-receiver is the most important part for the multiple-beam antenna in practical application. The influence of the channel mismatch on the satellite multiple-beam antenna system has been discussed and simulated in this paper. We have given the signal to noise ratio (SNR) to bit error rate (BER) curves at last. And the discussion results have a certain practical application value for designing the satellite system.
