Study on Mix Proportion Design of Epoxy Emulsified Asphalt Mixture

Abstract

Reasonable formula of epoxy emulsified asphalt was determined by analyzing the effects of waterborne epoxy resin, curing agent and emulsified asphalt on the waterborne epoxy resin modified emulsified asphalt(epoxy emulsified asphalt for short), under this premise, ratio design method of epoxy emulsified asphalt mixture was studied, optimum amount of epoxy emulsified asphalt was determined and again modified Marshall test design method was proposed on the basis of modified Marshall test design method. Results indicate that it is appropriate to conduct epoxy emulsified asphalt mixture ratio design by using again modified Marshall test.
