Abstract

In this paper the authors urged for seizing the historical opportunity of the emerging networked knowledge era and proposed a called “Internet + Knowledge†strategy to enable knowledge resources as a real driving engine in development of new economies. Based on the insights of knowledge as a service (KaaS) and network, through building the Internet of Knowledge (IoK) and knowledge cloud services, the knowledge and intellectual resources in the cyber space can be effectively connected and integrated as a whole to provide goal-oriented active knowledge services with much higher value creation. Some case studies of tentative practices are given in this paper, including the service sector.
