A Research of Wireless Sensor in Bridge Structure Monitoring

Abstract

Bridge monitoring is one of the important technologies to assure the safety of bridge structure. Recently, many large engineering structures are installed in the structural monitoring system. But most current sensing systems use the traditional way of cable, so they are of high cost. With the development of wireless transmission, wireless data acquisition and wireless transmission have found application in more fields nowadays Therefore, this paper aims to illustrate the application of wireless sensor in monitoring bridge structure, analyzing current problems with its application, and finally summarize the direction in this field.
