Visualization Analysis on Non-profit Organization Research in China (1994-2014): Based on Co-words Analysis and Knowledge Mapping

Abstract

This study uses nearly two decades literature’s theme is non-profit organization on CNKI as data source, selects the high frequency keywords in order to build a co-words matrix, then co-words matrix will be converted to a correlation matrix and dissimilarity matrix. On this basis, taking advantage of SPSS to complete cluster analysis and multidimensional scaling analysis, using UCINET and NETDRAW to draw out the knowledge mapping of nonprofit organization. Through the co-words analysis and social network analysis, the result finds out the main organization types be studied, and that the study of non-profit organization focused on three aspects: the research of non-profit organizations’ management mechanism, the research of nonprofit organizations’ social functions and theories, the research of the relationships among government, market and non-profit organization.
