Landing Stability Algorithms for Lunar Landers
Abstract
The simulation of landing stability for lunar landers is very important before the landing of real lunar landers on the planet. However, the landing stability of a lunar lander depends on human subjectivity, which cannot be determined by the existing algorithms under all situations. This paper shows several landing stability algorithms for lunar landers, and proposes an algorithm based on centroid wall. The experiments show that this algorithm works well.
