Load Transfer Characteristics of Threaded Connection Structure for Penetration Fuze

Abstract


The penetration fuze was mounted on the projectile through the threaded connection structure. To reveal the load transfer mechanism, the threaded connection structure was equivalent to a linear spring with damper characteristics, and a simplified load transfer model was established based on two DOFs spring-mass-damper system. Then, the load transfer characteristics of different threaded connection structures under sinusoidal signals with different loading frequencies were predicted adopting numerical integration method. On the foundation, the effects of different parameters on the load transfer characteristics were obtained, which could be applied to guide the optimal design of the threaded connection structure.
