Design Characteristics of WIFI Wireless Communication System in Power Plant

Abstract

Wireless communication systems are the first communication method in nuclear power plant under daily production and emergency conditions. Combined with nuclear technologies of European Pressurized Water Reactor (EPR), this thesis states the necessity to use WIFI as a wireless communication system. Meanwhile, it summarizes the main characteristics of WIFI communication technologies by comparing with McWiLL wireless communication systems. With the trend of the development of wireless communication technique, we can look into the future of the application of wireless communication technology in nuclear power plant.
