Applied Research of Gas Tufftriding Process on Mould

Abstract


Feature and theory of gas- tufftriding process was described. Reasonable gas tufftriding process selection of Cr12MoV, 3Cr2W8V and W18Cr4V mould steel was introduced, which is at 570℃ for 3 hours, carbamide 650~900g/hour, oil cooling. Nitriding time of large die mold could be extended and cool to 450℃ along with the furnace. Gas tufftriding process improved service life of die and efficiency, lowered the cost, achieved a certain economic benefits.
