Regardless of subjects, topics and courses of education, e-learning service is increasing these days, and as a result of the increasing of e-learning services there are a lot of production of e-learning contents. However, high quality learning resource of e-learning education is essential for productive education, learning and training. In this point of view quality management about e-learning contents, services and solutions has been brought up with an important issues in the worldwide country as well as in Korea.
The evaluation criteria for quality assurance is made and applied differently by the organization that perform the quality assurance or certification, therefore it is important to study about the evaluation factors and items in order to identify what kind of items affect to the pass or fail for quality assurance.
When whoever can analyze and identify the effect of the items on success or failure for quality assurance, they can know what kind of items are important for quality management, and they can plan and control the e-learning contents producing process for acquiring best quality. This study analyzed the affection of the factors and items of quality evaluation criteria on the success or failure for quality assurance using results of 908 quality assurance evaluation cases of e-learning contents from year 20011 to year 2014 in Korea. This result shows us how to apply evaluation criteria properly, and which items you should be focused on.
Therefore the result of this study can let the institution that prepare for quality assurance of e-learning contents know the factors and items which they should focused on, and will be able to contribute to make evaluation criteria when they the organization prepare the similar quality assurance business.
